i m getting only 10 kbps speed

  • plz Help....
    i m getting speeds of only 10kbps (2kbps download speed ) on my reliance phone LSP 340e
    i loaded Linux SUSe 9.1 personal from digit DVD .... n
    following are the commands with which i connected to the net ..

    #!/bin/bash

    echo "user actualUsername password actualPassword" > $HOME/.ppprc

    pppd /dev/ttyS1 115200 debug usepeerdns defaultroute noauth connect '/usr/sbin/chat -v "" at+crm=1 OK "atdt#777" CONNECT' mtu 264

    PLZ HELP


  • But I always get good speeds, better than in Windows while in Linux.


  • my downloads thru linux r very slow as compared to that windows XP

    if a files takes 5 minutes to download in XP it takes more than double the time in SuSe 9.1

    whats the problem??
