Sort Order and UPnP

  • I'm using XBMC as the client for a UPnP feed of my music library. Being an organized music library, all of my files are sorted into specific orders on the *server* side. And being a quality UPnP server, the feed includes that sorting data.

    I just want XBMC to honor said sorting data without reordering anything. Is there any way to do this? I set sort order to "file" but that doesn't seem to work for my playlists. They still sort out of order.

    Any help would be really, really appreciated :)


  • Since I don't know UPnP... what sort of ordering does it offer that XBMC does not recognize?

    I see my MP101 player does not order alphabetically from my GMedia server, but XBMC does.
