Xbox posessed by satan

  • wow so here we go...recently my xbox has been acting really weird. i recently got it soft modded and it has been acting really weird it will turn off for no reason at all. when i try to turn it back on it acts fine for a period of time (sometimes 15 minutes sometimes 15 seconds) at this point it shuts down again. i have even had it turn off on and than on again all by itself. another possibly related to this is the fact that the power button doesnt work. the only way to turn on the box is to hit the eject buttonto turn it off i gotz to unplug it (or wait till it does it itself) this is really annoying when im playing a game or watching a movie...any help is greatly appreciated


  • maybe the solder points to your power supply are broken. many xboxes have this problem. (see the thread about ms power cord replacements on xbox-scene forums.)

    maybe
    xbox => unplug
    window => open
    xbox => throw

    or

    else type in xboxmediacenter.xml
    church/exorcism/www.vatican.va (http://www.vatican.va/)

  • sounds like it is getting to hot. maybe you you put something in front of one of the fans (even a cable in the wrong place might eb enough).
