  • love slipknot seen them 3 times and met corey when stone sour was in australia, corey is this generations OZZY and that motherf@#$er can sing! my fav song would have to be "dont get close" and coreys first mask is brutal

  • I love slipknot saw them ozzfest 2001 and the pledge of allegince tour! my favorite song would have to be Scream,The Blister Exists or Iam hated! Ive loved them forever!!!!! ever since mate feed kill repeat came out in like 1994 or 1995! But mudvayne and mushroom head are wicked too!


  • I have seriously mixed feelings about Slipknot. I see Slipknot as a "gateway band," introducing people to heavier music. Hopefully, through Slipknot, they discover bands like Meshuggah, Carcass, Opeth, At The Gates, Entombed, Darkthrone... the list goes on and on.
    I don't know what to make of them in this day and age. They are currently recording a new album, and in my opinion, it will make or break them. I thought the last one was terrible, and I thought Iowa was mediocre, at best, despite some solid riffs.
    2008 will be the deciding year for Slipknot.
    In the meantime, listen to Slayer.


  • are slipknot even still around? i used to like them back when they were new and different. not much new and different now im afraid. that was back in 1999-2000! i remember seeing them in portsmouth! was great!

  • First album was good i suppose.

    The emos over here a fuking pricks. They are all getting into death metal but they still look emo. I like death metal and some of these "death core" bands are pretty good. Its just these emo preppy scence kids who ruin it by thinking they know evreying about brutal music when I've been into death metal years before it was considerd cool


  • I don't mind them. But everytime I hear someone claim they are the best death metal band ever, I have to fight back the urge to beat the **** out of the person saying it. I'm not insulting the band, but they're not ******* death metal, hell, they're not even ******* metal. Rant over.
