There was an excellent ad for Nike that aired in the late 90s. It had
the World soccer team (consisting of international players from
different countries) playing a demon soccer team.
It went for about two minutes and ended with a French striker bidding
"au revoir" before kicking a goal straight through the body of the
demon goalkeeper.
Where can I find a copy of this ad on the internet?
Could this one
http://www.ads.com/ads/adInfo.jsp?ad_id=2798&us=1398768&pt=0&sr=5
or this one
http://www.ads.com/ads/adInfo.jsp?ad_id=2646&us=1398768&pt=0&sr=5
be the ad you are looking for?
(You can watch them online.)
I only have dialup access so the picture is choppy for me but the
first one seems to show something exploding out from someone and it's
definatly a soccer commercial by Nike although I'm not sure If it is
the one you are looking for.
arcadesdude-ga, the two commercials you mentioned are the latest ads
from Nike. Although they are not the one I am thinking of, they are
notable for helping to create the world number 1 hit "A Little Less
Conversation" by Elvis vs. JXL.
pinkfreud-ga, at least now I know what the official name of the ad is,
and I didn't know the director was Tarsem (Losing My Religion was one
of the best music videos I have ever seen).
However, I am not familiar with kazaa.com, is there an actual site
where it can be downloaded from?
I found it with the following Google search:
nike "good vs evil" download
A .mov file of the whole commercial is on the first page of the Soccer
Commercials Page. You will need Quicktime installed in order to play
it.
